At £30 per night for a small campervan I found this site cramped, outdated and unkempt. The showers were awful, be careful of the floor, fully tiled floor which didn't appear to have any grip tiles. Shower/toilet blocks dated, shower pressure, well you'd be better with a bucket with one hole in it. Not impressed at all. Pitches for the van were hardstanding, to a fashion, but obviously designed for wider vehicles than ours and you are very close to your neighbour. As for the kids playground, although this was of no interest to us, I couldn't help noticing the lack of fun stuff to do and what looked like an empty sandpit.

We have recently returned from a week staying in one of the A+ caravans on the site.

The caravans themselves were immaculate and were really modern inside. The double bed in the master room had a mattress which was as comfy as mine at home.

They request that you don’t park next to the caravans (however are fine for you to load and unload) and instead park on the parking area which is just a short walk away (literally 50yards). This was fine and meant that children could play on the grassed areas without fear of vehicles coming anywhere near.

The location is great and probably a 20/30 minute gentle stroll to the restaurants in the bay. I would highly recommend the location should you be looking to stay in a caravan.

There were plenty of people who were camping and in tents however they were in a separate part of the site and therefore we didn’t really interact with them. Everyone seemed pleasant and to be enjoying themselves and the facilities.

Camped here for 3 nights with my family and we had a great time, such a beautiful place, right next to the beach, the shop sold lots of beautiful interesting things, the food place made the nicest pizzas, the camping was right next to the park which was ideal with having kids, all the kids had a ball playing till the sun went down, toilets and shower blocks were spotless, such a nice atmosphere here! definitely booking up for next year.

Our third visit to this site and it’s as good as ever. Our static was really large, comfortable, and modern with everything we needed and more. The team around the park are so friendly, we received a lovely welcome and when we encountered a small technical fault the warden was round to fix it in a flash. True service with a smile. The outdoor space is wonderful, every static caravan comes with its own picnic table, the caravans are nicely spaced with tons of well kept green space for children to run around in. The playground for kids is decent too with swings, parallel bars, sandpit, see saw, and horizontal ladder, all safely fenced in. The free Wi-Fi around the park is very patchy and we had to sit outside to use it but it didn’t ruin the holiday at all. One thing that makes the caravan different is that it uses 100% renewable energy generated a quarter of a mile away. As the park is right next to Findhorn eco community you have use of the good shop and cafe on-site witch is very convenient. As for getting into findhorn it’s only a miles walk to all the great facilities such as chips shop, ice cream parlour, cafes, pubs, beautiful bay and beach, seal watching and so much more! The nearby beach and dunes area are truly stunning, a must do. The park is also perfectly located to explore the best of moray; Elgin, Lossiemouth, RoseIsle, Forres and amazing coastal places. The energy and community feeling of this place can’t be replicated so all and al just AMAZING!

Room tip: Some of the static caravans are pet friendly so check ahead if you’re bringing your pet along or have a pet allergy.

Stayed here overnight in a campervan to break a long journey. £30 for a night was rather expensive. Our pitch was right in front of the children's playground so we had noise until about 11pm. On the blurb we were given with rules and regulations it said units must be 6 metres apart....our neighbour was about 6 feet away. The chemical waste was disgusting and you had to go outside to a tap to rinse jt out... Think this was also a drinking water tap. Would not visit again or recommend to anyone.
