Stayed here for one night . Absolute luxury and quality in every respect. Room, service, food are 5 star plus. Do not hesitate to book here. Ian and Diane are incredible hosts. The ensuite is absolute luxury and the facilities in the vast room are great . The cotton sheets, well brilliant. Breakfast delicious choices and a good packed lunch of homemade jam sandwiches , heaven.

Room Tip: Any the B and B is superb

We stayed at Trochelhill this weekend as part of my fiancé's birthday present so I wanted it to be really special. It was! We were greeted by Diane who immediately made us feel welcome - bringing us tea and some delicious home-made cakes. We were then shown to our room (Aigen) which was absolutely beautiful. A four poster bed with a brilliant view looking out to the hills and surrounding countryside. Awesome bathroom (think - walk in shower and huge bath). Everything was luxurious - from the fluffy towels and beautiful bath products to the big comfortable bed and lovely dressing gowns. We really appreciated the small touches as well - fresh milk was provided in a cooler for our tea, coffee (and hot chocolate!).

We stayed for two nights but would have liked to stay a lot longer. The breakfast was lovely, home-cooked food of the highest quality. We felt looked after, pampered and very very relaxed. Diane and Ian were warm and attentive - nothing was too much trouble.

Not only would we recommend Trochelhill without hesitation, we will, without doubt, be going back ourselves. We rarely do this, so this is the highest compliment we could pay! Sorry to gush but this really is a wonderful place - thank you Diane and Ian!

Room Tip: We stayed in Aigen and I would definitely stay there again. Based on the high standard of Trochelhil...

Just had an overnight stay here a couple of nights ago and I can only praise it. Probably one of the best Bed and Breakfasts I have ever stayed in. Attention to detail was second to none and Iain and Diane's lovely welcoming manner immediately put you at ease. Will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

Absolutely first rate! Large room and bath, faultlessly appointed. Large, fluffy towels, and boutique toiletries. (and robes!) Faultless!

We had a wonderful time on our 14 day visit to Scotland and our stay at Trochelhill stands out! This place is located perfectly for day trips, and so wonderfully appointed! More memorable, Ian & Dian are very gracious hosts. We could not have asked for anything more. I was especially delighted when Dian offered to do laundry on the 4th day of our stay. We will always have fond memories of our stay at Trochelhill!!

A typical visit to Trochelhill.

Beautiful drive way fills you with anticipation
Reception hallway is - 10/10
Reception of guests with afternoon tea cakes and Tea or coffee - Really over and above. Literally the best reception to any hotel or guest hose we have ever frequented. - 10/10.
Upstairs to the rooms - Stunning although some unpronounceable. Aigen is just amazing. These rooms are £400 a night quality.
Gardens are beautiful and just idyllic to sit in. We have spent a good few hours here.
Breakfast on each occasion, cooked to perfection.
We have tried tens, near hundreds of guest houses throughout the UK and nothing comes close.

You have to work hard to be this good. The patrons are working very hard indeed.

I must say a missive thank you to Ian & Diane for their warm and welcoming hospitality during my recent business trip to their country house.
The place is faultless, service like you would expect at Gleneagles, breakfast fit for a king and on a par with the Marcliffe of Pitfodels in Aberdeen.
The room I had was very clean and huge and cosy, the bathroom was massive with lovely walk in shower.
All the decor in all the rooms I was in were of a high standard and they certainly take pride in what they are doing.
Keep up the good work and will certainly visit again hopefully with the wife and kids.
A gem of Fochabers, that everyone needs to visit..
