Dining options: Breakfast
Description: The Potting Shed coffee shop always proves a popular place for locals and visitors. Everything we serve is home cooked on our premises and we source our products from local suppliers we know and trust. We have become famous for our range of scones and soups with the scones often still warm when they are served. Whether it be a hearty cooked breakfast, a light lunch, an afternoon tea or just a coffee and cake, there is something for everyone.

Huge choice on the menu
Loads of staff
Homemade cakes/Biscuits in abundance

Went in for lunch today... Temperature must have been 30dec C in there, massive queue. Took ages for food to come, and then it was wrong. It came with cous cous instead of potato wedges, burger was in a very stale bun, with very under cooked stringy bacon and a rock hard burger. The kids hot dog was also in a v stale bun which fell apart when picked up with a measly sausage in it. Will NEVER go back, v poor show.

Stopped here to buy some garden plants and discovered the little restaurant. Had never realised it was there despite having visited the garden centre before. It was one of the best brunches we have ever had. Huge choice on the menu, and both our meals were of excellent quality, and large portions. Asked for an extra teabag in both pots, and it was fine. The wait for the food was quite long, but that usually means that it has been freshly made. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and will be back now that we have found it. Recommend the baked potato with the steak, onion, and mustard sauce filling.

Quite good for gift ware, pet centre, good selection of plants and good tea room. Plants have always been of good quality and fairly reasonably priced
