Harbour lights is in a lovely spot beside the harbour in Lossiemouth. We visited on a lovely day and had the choice of sitting inside or out. Main courses were all around £10 which felt like good value for top notch pub fayre. Loved the jambalaya, grilled langoustines and asparagus special. Menu was very varied with a large choice of options including lighter sandwich and panini options as well as more substantial dishes. Good specials board. Friendly attentive staff. Will return.

A 15 minute delay in any upmarket cafe is acceptable, but 45 minutes is a joke but then to be quizzed and questioned when complaining is bang out of order! Think they prioritise their customers by appearance, which does not bode well considering the prices!

Went in today for a late breakfast we where told there was a 15 min wait for food but decided to order anyways. We ordered a Scottish breakfast and pouched eggs on toast a few minuets later our drinks came out then the toast but 40 minuets later still no food. We decided to leave and approached the staff to let them know they asked us to pay for our drinks which we refused the waiter told us they had said there was a 15 minuet wait to which we told them we had been waiting for 40 minuets while other people around us who came in after us had been served there food. I think a 40 minuet wait for a cooked breakfast and pouched eggs is very poor considering there prices. I will not be visiting again.

This is a delightful cafe/restaurant on the quayside of one of northeast Scotland's picturesque fishing villages. The young staff are friendly and helpful and the menu offers a good range of food.
Outside seating is available for the pleasant days that aren't so rare in this part of the world - Morayshire enjoys its own microclimate, which is often much better than other parts of this region. Harbour Lights is situated opposite an area of the harbour where vintage sailing or motor vessels are often moored, so there are interesting things to look at as you wait for your food.
Lossiemouth has excellent beaches to the east and west of the town and a good quality golf course.
Only disadvantage of Harbour Lights is that, at present, Saturday is the only day when it is open in the evening; otherwise it closes at 4pm each day.
Thoroughly recommend this location!
