We stayed in the family suite for three nights. Extremely well equipped, spacious and very clean rooms.
The beds are very comfortable with luxurious linen providing for an excellent nights sleep.

The hotel has two venues for food and drink. Pagodas is an excellent restaurant with "fine dining" at reasonable prices, we had breakfast here and it was excellent. The hotel also has a nice bistro space, we had fish and chips with minted peas here, very nice indeed.

I would heartily recommend this hotel as a base for anyone visiting the Speyside area.

Room Tip: Enjoy an evening in the "Spirit Safe"

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Station Hotel in Rothes for 3 nights during our 10 day tour of Scotland. My husband stayed here in 2016 and had been telling me and the rest of our group (3 other couples) about how wonderful the hotel was since then so I knew when we booked our trip this year that the Station House would definitely be on our agenda. We decided to treat ourselves to the Caperdonich suite which was well worth the indulgence. The room is tastefully decorated with gorgeous finishes. Even though it was August, we still enjoyed the in room fire place upon returning to the room after a rainy day in Scotland. This was one of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever had. The others in our party all loved their room as well.

We dined at the on site restaurant for breakfast all 3 days, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. We loved the cooked to order breakfast and Peter did a super job! We appreciated his humor. All of the food was lovely and there was something for everyone. The Pagodas restaurant is the perfect place to end your day. Trust me you will be happy to arrive back at the Station House after a long day of touring and be able to walk downstairs to dinner in their fine restaurant. Again, something for everyone. Over the course of our stay our group tried most everything.

The hotel is centrally located in Rothes. All major Speyside distilleries are a short drive, heck you can even walk to 2 from the hotel. Also close to Elgin (Elgin Cathedral, Johnston's of Elgin, and Gordon & Mcphail Whisky Shop). We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff was so friendly and did their best to make our stay a real pleasure. Looking forward to a return visit!

If you are headed to Speyside, this is the perfect hotel to use as a base when exploring the distilleries in the region. Wonderful rooms, and a great restaurant you can look forward to returning to in the evening. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout.

We recently stayed here for several nights on our visit to the Speyside area. The hotel is modern and well located for visiting the distilleries. They have the most amazing collection of scotches in their bar. Apparently over 500 choices.
Our room was very spacious and very clean. Road noice is a bit of an issue as they are on a main road.

Suite on the top floor, beautiful room, very spacious, very comfortable bed, very quiet, and a small decanter of scotch was a nice touch. Dinner was very good and they have a very nice selection of whiskeys. All the staff that we encounter was very good and helpful. We only stayed one night a we wished we would have booked a longer stay. Hopefully we will return at some point.
