Booked hotel for 2 nights as was going to commonwealth games. Couldn't get any in Glasgow's centre totally rip off prices there.
Hotel is in need of serious investment it is very tired in all respects. Although clean inside, the exterior welcome of fag butts poor attention to green areas does not say "welcome"
It is a shame because it has a potential to be really a good venue for weddings although this is boasted in blurb you would shop around.
Room was OK clean but again in need breakfast on offer is OK cereals juice and a spartan but hot Scottish breakfast.
At £70 for a double shouldn't get too upset by Hotel's appearance but I do feel there are not tapping into its obvious potential

Booked 32 people for a 60th birthday meal and cant fault the attention from start to finish.. The 3 courses were delicious and well presented. At the same time a wedding reception was being held in the reception hall. Was concerned as we thought they would have got priority. Our fears were groundless as the staff couldn`t have been more attentive . Can`t understand some of the comments on site as the overall experience was fantastic. The menu was extensive and the food was excellent, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The staff were polite and helpful Service was friendly and fast and we will certainly be back.

I bought a groupon (dinner for two plus bottle of wine £20.) I went at lunch time instead, did not want wine. Lunch is about 40% cheaper than dinner. The horrible waiter (maybe manager) would not replace wine for two soft drinks. Food had to be sent back as it was cold, kitchen sent out our meal cold for a second time, as we were working we didn't have time to return it. He still charged us for two soft drinks.By buying this groupon our lunch cost us more that it would have if we paid cash on the day. Don't expect to get good customer service from this restaurant

Went for Sunday lunch, the £9.95 menu for 3 courses looks great value but be aware you get charged £9.95 whether you eat all three courses or just one!! There is no vegetarian main option which is very disappointing and when I asked for a vegetarian main I was told it was a set menu but they could give me macaroni as it was on the child's menu surely it's not too much to even have 1 alternative especially as the macaroni was very average at best. Portions are small and everyone at our table who had the 3 courses finished them easily. Kids menu quite expensive at £4.95 as it doesn't include a drink and only the really good ice creams saved the day.
Also ordered a Pinot Grigio and was told I could only have a big bottle although I could have Sauvignon blanc which was also out a bottle!!! Funny :-)
Overall it was ok, staff are pleasant but very expensive for what we had and could eat out cheaper and for better food and bigger portions elsewhere close by.
No rush to go back

Restaurant review only - my partner and I dined at the Bentley on a groupon deal - the starter was fairly palatable and it went downhill from there the main meals were bland and tasteless the "napoli sauce" in the spaghetti was nothing short of the juice from a can of strained tomatoes the stuffed peppers were horrible they were stuffed with undercooked brown rice which was mixed with sultanas and tasteless - I don't often complain when faced with such poor food but regardless of this meal being on a groupon deal I felt compelled to have to day something to the staff - the Bentley need to have a rethink about at their menu and their chef!

We booked the Bentley hotel for a Communion party and were not disappointed. Fantastic service and excellent food. Joy was extremely helpful organising our party. Staff were excellent especially on a very busy day...three functions on at the same time. Well done. We plan to return as everyone had a great time. Thank you.
