Visited Highland safaris during the October school holidays.
The Red Deer were in a field next to main building and the guide told us some interesting facts about the deer. The guide offered visitors to take a handful of food from a bucket to feed the deer. This was a nice experience but in my opinion not really worth £5 per person.

We greatly appreciate your feedback regarding our Red Deer Encounter. We are currently developing this experience into a Red Deer Centre, which will open next year. This has been 2 years in the planning and it is great to see it all taking shape now. The encounters will be scheduled 3 times a day and will last 1 hour, compared to the current 20 minutes. We are also having a Barn Owl join our team, for you to meet during a hands on demonstration. Our progress can be followed on Facebook and we hope that you will be able to come to experience it when it is completed.

We stopped in Alberfeldy on our way to Pitlochry. Had lunch in the cozy cafe and then met up with Sandy and learned about the Red Deer. After that we did the safari. We ended up not being able to see anything due to the weather, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. The entire area is beautiful. Highly recommend for families. Everyone extremely friendly.

We went with a group of 15 persons with 4 Land Rover Defenders for a 4 hour safari. We could drive ourselves with the help of guides. The parcours was great. Lochs, panoramic views. The guides really love the country, tell you with a lot of passion about nature, animals, the region. At noon we had a lovely pick nick with some wine, beer, and cold dishes.
What a great experience, compliment to the guides.

Safari at 06.30 in June, really beautiful and quiet. It was just two of us, that made it very special.
There was a great breakfast afterwards.
