“Pleasant Suprise”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Most enjoyable spur of the moment visit. Interesting to see the subtle differences between other distilleries I've visited. We did the basic tour which was quite interesting. The film was quite well done as these things go and there were some quite good bits in the museum and I enjoyed the tasting of the Aberfeldy and White Label and purchased a bottle of each with the discount from the tour. We then ate in the cafe and the cheeseboard was excellent as was the pannino that my wife had. I would recommend it to friends...

“Great for a coffee break.”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

We popped in for coffee and a scone when travelling in the local area. The coffee and scone were lovely. Everything tasted very fresh. The menu looked great and ideal for lunch. The toilets were lovely and clean. The gift shop could have been bigger. It would have been nice to buy some jam. The staff were very polite. We will definitely return when in the area.

“Great distillery tour”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

My husband is a massive whisky fan & as we were in the area, we made this part of our trip.
Dewars World of Whisky also houses Aberfeldy distillery. Different levels of tour incur different charges. The standard tour is around £7.95, the Connoisseur tour £25. Both extremely good value for money. First part of the tour is a film about Dewars & a self guided with a headphone you operate yourself. Fantastic. Second part of the tour is with a guide round the actual distillery. We had head tour guide Liz, who is absolutely fantastic & very enthusiastic. We have been to several distillery tours, but this was the most enthusiastic & informative by far.
The visitor centre has recently been refurbished & is absolutely lovely. Comes with cafe that serves locally sourced products. Every member of staff we met & spoke to was absolutely lovely. There was a real team & family feel about the place.
The gift shop is focused on whisky & not on tat, which is great. Bravo Dewars!
Visitor centre wheelchair accessible. Distillery tour, not accessible, but still we highly recommend this fantastic place.
N.B. OPEN TOED SHOES/SANDALS NOT ALLOWED ON DISTILLERY TOUR FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS. ( Dewars can provide you with Wellington boots if need be. )

“Dewars afternoon”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

This was my third trip over a period of 9 years. We went along to see the newly refurbished lounge area.
The tour guide was George who in my opinion was the best guide of the three visits he really came across very well.
It is really worth a visit plus the whisky is excellent.

“Enjoyed our brief visit ”
Reviewed 24 July 2014 via mobile

We stopped in just to check things out, and were very pleased with what we found.

We did not have much time to spend, so we ate lunch and inquired about condensed tour. They had nothing available, but offered us to check out the exhibit and served up a dram.

Overall a very brief and satisfying experience.
