“Beautiful walk”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Went for a fantastic easy walk round the 6 acres gardens STUNNING, beautifully tended. The owners are lovely people and will happily stand and talk to you about any of the plants, very interesting and peaceful. Lovely way to spend an afternoon.

“A walk in the woods”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

So lucky to choose a sunny day - walking through this lovely woodland garden. A wide variety of shade loving plants - and architectural flora. Plenty of ideas for planting at home.
Allow an hour to gently ramble round.

33 numbered markers lead you in, out, up and down this full, beautiful and tranquil space. Plants from the garden for sale.

“Lovely garden”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

The garden was extremely well kept & a clear numbered path to follow round it.. It would have been helpful to have pictures of the flowers as well as the written sheet with the Latin names for those of us not familiar with plants! Although the flowers we saw were lovely, I think in a couple of months time it will be even more impressive. We did see a red squirrel running about the garden which I was delighted with! There is an honesty box for entrance which is £5a person, but no cafe or toilet facilities.

“Great if you like trees”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

This is not your normal country house gardens, more like a forest. However, it makes for a very pleasant couple of hours wandering around spotting red squirrels and manic pheasants.
