despite it nearly being closing time we were given a warm welcome and a fab array of cakes to choose from - the gluten free one with the peanuts and chocolate was to die for! - lovely range of gifts and excellent wines too - helpful advice given also. Thank you - will be back!!

Very friendly, warm, helpful staff. Chilled out, relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food... I never liked Carrot and Orange soup until today and the homemade bread and crisp fresh salad were way beyond expectations. Beautiful view from the car park too!! Thank you for being part of a lovely family road trip, we will be back.... and I will make sure I'm not driving and take full advantage of the wine tasting ;)

It wasn't that cold but the log fire was burning and the sofa placed facing it was available so it was irresistible. Fruit scones with freshly made raspberry jam, cream and a decent cup of decaf coffee sealed the deal. Great place, free wifi, nice staff. Don't drive past.

We have been visiting here for quiet a few years now.The soup and cheese scone was always my favourite but now the soup and scone is half the size! The best value for money is the soup and sandwich which comes with side salad for only another £3.You get the same size bowl of soup with this that you get with only soup and bread/scone.
Would suggest to get a large cafetiere between 2 which is better value, than normal size coffee which is small. They do have some nice cake and biscuits for afters.
The renovated barn is nice and they sell wine from new world and some gifts but not as much as they use to stock.
