“An Exceptional Caesar Salad”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

We visit the House of Menzies regularily when we're in Highland Perthshire. The menu just suits the whole of the family. The food is fresh and of good quality. The service is normally quick and friendly.
The Chicken Cesar salad is actually quite exceptional

“Deliciously different”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

We visited the Centre today and were pleasantly surprised by the lunchtime menu. Tasty imaginative snacks very pleasantly served. It makes such a difference when staff make the effort to be pleasant and chat briefly. It was a warm day so we did not try the soup but the open sandwiches and crostini with smoked salmon were really good. Prices were about average for a rural tourist area. I will certainly return.

“Gorgeous food in a beautiful setting.”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

We chanced upon this place following a trip around Loch Tummel and decided to call here after not being able to find anywhere else for lunch. I had heard that their food was supposed to be good but it was exceptional. They serve light lunches but we found the portions were quite generous. I had a pasta salad and my Mum had a goats cheese and walnut salad on toasted bread. Both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Will definitely call again if we are in the area.

“Eggy Bread!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

We had several quite remarkable breakfasts at the House of Menzies. We would have had more - but had to come home! A light and airy restaurant, very friendly staff and everything locally sourced and cooked just for you! Eggs delivered daily by a 'wee laddy' who rears his own free range chicken, and home-cured bacon from the 'farm next-door'. The pancakes with bacon and maple syrup were superb; the eggy bread and bacon, a rare treat - and the 'Eggs Benedict', a dish to die for! Prices were ridiculously reasonable for such generous portions and we were more than satisfied with a single serving and an extra plate! The cake selection will have to wait until next year when we go back. Be sure to get there before 11.00 o'clock for the best breakfast in Scotland!
