Excellent holiday home in a fantastic location, very friendly and attentive owners. The best holiday home in Scotla nd so far. The accommodation is highly recommended. We would rent the house again at any time. Many thanks for everything to Russell and Sandy.
We had a lovely few days at the Rainbow Lodge. The lodge itself is beautiful...clean, spacious, and very well equipped. There were lots of little touches that make such a difference when you're staying away from home. The stunning views, cosy log burner, thoughtful welcome pack...were everything we needed for a relaxing family break! Thank you so much!
Beautiful location, peaceful, with fantastic scenery we enjoyed watching the wildlife
The Lodge was decorated to a very high standard with beautiful soft furnishings.lovely gift basket on arrival, the owners made us feel like part of their family, we will be back for a return visit
Deceivingley big with beautiful views from every room. Everything is to a high standard from cleanliness to the furniture and there was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived. Cannot fault any of it at all absolutely loved being here would definately recommend to anyone to go and enjoy, I will definitely be returning here.
To wake up and go to bed next door with ducks, swans and deers was a wonderful experience. The accommodation offers all comfort to feel at home in a comprehensive equipped and quite stylishly furnished as well as very clean cabin. For any queries the landlord was always reachable. We - a Bavarian family (3 kids) really enjoyed the communication with Russel and Sandy who were very keen to arrange for us a great time at Rainbow Lodge.
The magical surroundings and also the near fabulous village Aberfeldy promises being right in the middle of Harry Potter's story world. We spent a memorable and wonderful time at Rainbow Lodge and look forward to repeat this break out time in Scotland in not so far future...perhaps in winter time...?
We booked this lodge for the week of our sons wedding in Kenmore and used it as our base in the week leading up (and to relax the day following !!).
Location was excellent and with 3 bedrooms all en-suite it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and Alice managed to bake and ice over 100 cup cakes ready for the big day.
It was wonderful to wake up each morning and draw back our curtains to look over the lochan to the deer park and mountains beyond. I even managed to catch a small wild brownie on the fly on the last day.
The lodge is very spacious, well equipped and beautifully located at a small loch. On the other side of the loch is a beautiful deer park -- a very nice walk in the evenings. We also recommend hiking on Schiehallion which is located close-by and offers stunning views into the highlands. We also enjoyed going to Kenmore where we rented a boat and spent some time on Loch Tay. All in all, we spent a wonderful week in Glengoulandie and absolutely recommend it!
