“Wonderful Holiday”
Reviewed 17 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

The house is in a beautiful place with lovely views and within easy reach of Aberfeldy. We were warm and cosy and enjoyed the fire. Good facilities and we loved the barbecue hut - thank you Ian for setting everything up for us. Ian was helpful and booking was easy. There is lots to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the riverside walk and white water rafting. We would definitely recommend Hill Fold.

“Hillfold Aberfeldy”
Reviewed 7 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Good comfortable accommodation with everything provided you could possibly require. 3 great size ensuite bedrooms, 1 double room & a further loft room up some ladders for another 4 smaller people! The bbq hut was great, with everything all ready in there including coal, plates, skewers etc. Ian put a lot of effort into making sure everything was ok for our stay. Location was excellent plenty to see and do in surrounding areas. Great place to stay, thanks Ian.

“Perfect house for family weekend”
Reviewed 18 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Cosy house set well back from the road. Child friendly garden. Perfect for the dogs too. Surrounded by countryside but not too far from shops. The house has everything you need and more. Vast selection of books and games. The BBQ hut was a great success. We all had a lovely time. The only negative is the recycling regime which was a bit confusing ( not Ian's fault).

“Beautiful Cottage and Location”
Reviewed 26 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

What a fantastic cottage and beautiful location. It was perfect for our girlie weekend, and very handy that we had booked on the Highland safari just along the road. Ian was extremely helpful from the first enquiry and right up to our arrival. He provided lots of information on the area and gave us plenty of advice on places to eat and drink etc He was very accommodating to set up the beds to suit our group. The cottage itself has everything that you can need and more, Everyone loved it, I would very much recommend Hill Fold and Ian as a host. I'd love to return in the future and make use of the log burner and Bbq hut in the garden as we never got the chance.

“Pleasant location and very helpful owner”
Reviewed 24 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

14 members of my family stayed in Hill Fold for a wedding and had a very pleasant stay. Location is splendid and the house is stocked up with pretty much everything you would need, apart from your food and drink (of course!). The owner Ian was very helpful, setting up a cot and small bed for our younger guests and giving us lifts late at night from the wedding we attended at the nearby Castle Menzies when there was no taxi option. Ian also never charged us for the breakages (albeit minor ones) we had. The accommodation was spacious with a big garden, a large table for dining, though it couldn’t quite fit 14 of us, and a relaxing lounge area with space and various toys and activities for kids. The walls were thick enough that we could not hear people in neighbouring rooms. Nit-picking slightly, but a couple of negatives were: (1) the dishwasher which is slightly dangerous as it snaps back very quickly, although you can use a workaround to stop this; and (2) the iron was not a steam iron so not great for ironing shirts for a wedding, for example. The positives far outweighed these very slight negatives though and all told, this was a beautiful place which I would both recommend and consider coming back to again.

Hello and thanks for the nice comments.
New iron on he way, but not much we can do with a brand new Miele dishwasher except pointing out its idiosyncrasies in the blurb!
Regards,
Ian
