Lunched here during the week. We were really lucky and managed to get a terrace outside. Very peaceful as there were on 5 large tables on the terrace. Food was really tasty if portions a bit on the small side. Considering location drinks were reasonable. Would definitely return.

I ate here with my girlfriend as I'm a member in the fitness club here . The food was a big disappointment . The steaks £49 and £44 pounds respectively were bland and not very well cooked. The wine is stupidly over priced as are the sides . The waitress was intrusive and we just did not enjoy the experience . The funny thing is that many of the fellow club members I've spoken to have also eaten here and feel the same and yet the hotel don't seem to take these comments on board . I for example asked for a portion of sour cream once and was informed that the restaurant didn't have any , yes a 5 star hotel didn't have any . I told the waitress if the chef was struggling I ( a plumber ) could show him how to make some .

We dined at Deseo while at Gleneagles. We thought it would be a nice option on our first night as we were tired from traveling from the US. We found the service to be very slow, and the food was very expensive for what we had. They made a big to do over the special steaks, but we found them to be rather tough and not that special. We did not done there again during our stay.

A group of us dinned here and I must say the food was fantastic. Very Mediterranean, with a great selection of Tapas to start with and a vast array of beef breeds and fresh fish to choose from from the grill. I am looking forward to returning

Mediterranean flavours using local produce. Of course Gleneagles offers the very best in fine dining with its Michelin stars but if you're staying for more than one night then be sure to try Deseo. It offers superb variety and a great, relaxed atmosphere. The tapas options are delicious as a light-bite, starter or while having some drinks with friends while the main meals are fresh, fragrant and filling. You can eat here without spending a fortune (pizzas and pasta are around £15-20) or you can splash out on the finest meats and seafoods. And, very importanly, the service is impeccable.
