After spending a day of pure indulgence in the gleneagals spa I can confirm that the spa lives up to my great expectations. Luxurious, tranquil and pristine. The therapist was wonderful and I have a great facial, after which I relaxed in the female only facilities. Well worth the money, a great little day of escapism!

Having been a long term user of E'spa products, I attended the spa for my second - identical - treatment this week.

I am nursing a tight - burnt - bumpy - red - face.

I was charged for my treatment, and believe it will take a long time for my skin to return to normal (combination - not sensitive, and never before with a breakout).

I had hoped for a call back from E'spa - but no such call came yesterday or today.

Having been a long term customer of E'spa before they changed the range plus some product ingredients - I am pretty disappointed. Perhaps I have not ordered enough from them over the last ten years....

I was visiting my cousin who has a timeshare week at the Glenmor Lodges. We visited the spa on the morning of Wednesday 4th April. Looking forward to a five star experience with total relaxation we were in wind down mode as we entered the spa. Welcomed by our two lovely therapists we anticipated a morning of complete relaxation . We were astounded and completely amazed when after entering our treatment rooms we started to hear workmen , who were actually working in spa, banging , hammering ,talking , and putting up land down ladders! Who had given the go ahead for work to be carried out in the Spa whilst customers were being treated.? We know the Spa is having a major refurbishment , but don't carry it out without informing customers. Unbelievable in a five star hotel. Afterwards we both commented on how well our therapists had handled the situation. They were extremely professional and tried hard to deliver five star treaments. Very difficult trying to treat customers with all this noise going on. We both voiced our annoyance to our therapists who deserved 10 out of 10 for diplomacy. At the end of our treatments we were given a nice gift of Espa eye treats tfrom our therapists to apolgise for the inconvenience. However , as kind a gesture as this was , there was absolutely no way I was paying for the experience. We asked to speak to a Manager , and the reservation manager arrived to speak to us, she did apologise and offered me a further treatment in afternoon , however I declined as I was leaving later in the day. She did not offer my cousin anything who is actually a owner of a timeshare lodge, I had to state very clearly why we were not paying and after a long discussion she agreed to waive our fees. First point - a manager should have came to us immediately to apologise personally and automatically waived our charges. So do check if booking treatments that the spa is in fact workmen free! I cannot fault our therapists who were professional, friendly and helpful, had we had the tranquility we expected we would have been very happy with our treatments. I feel there is bad lack of training in some depts at Gleneagles and as said by a previous trip advisor , they are resting on their laurels! The setting is indeed five star , however Five star prices deserve Five star customer service . A definite training requirment in certain areas of the hotel.
