Always a friendly smile, lots of folk enjoying the food, drinks, and just chatting. Many great pictures on the walls, cards, jewellery, candles and all sorts of knick, knacks for sale at great prices. A blazing real fire in the hearth. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere friendly. What more can you ask for? Will always come back.

Thank Mick S

What did I like on my inaugural visit to The Squirrel? Well, pretty much everything. Welcoming wee space, friendly owners, convivial atmosphere, decent coffee, log burning stove warmth and Ella...yep, Ella, crooning the way only Ella could, gently in the background. All this on a thoroughly miserable, damp Tuesday afternoon. Y'know, for all the über trendy Specialty coffee spaces in abundance, there's still something comforting about places like this. No-one's trying to be a hipster dude, just provide a fine experience and interact with customers...remember the days we all spoke to one another? So, bravo Team Squirrel. You made an ageing coffee guy rather happy and wistful, even if only for the time it took to quaff my splendid Alfie coffee and read the paper...

Arrived in Crieff having had a nice drive in the country. Walked the length of the Main Street and happened upon the Red Squirrel Cafe.
A lovely clean welcoming space with interesting photo art work. We had scrambled eggs with a toasted bagel and smoked salmon. Very tasty. Coffee delicious, so good I had two. Tea served in a nice pot. Followed the bagels with excellent caramel short cake which was served with a decorative but edible slice of fresh orange and dainty piece of watermelon. Just the thing to balance the guilt! Service was quick and friendly.
This is not an overfancy or fussy place but a Cafe where you can get good food, generous portions at a fair price and sit in a pleasant space with no competition from sound systems. Recommended

Came here for breakfast, delicious food, reasonably priced and great presentation. Planning a return visit! Would recommend. The Greek platter on the light-bite menu is fab :)

Lovely little setting just up the hill from the main shopping and St James square. Comfy seats and chilled out vibe provide a lovely place to have an afternoon coffee. Quality of coffee was good but not excellent, my flat white wasn't too hot but nothing special. Lining the walls with paintings and prints made every inch of the cafe quirky and interesting. The choice of art work was very bright and vibrant paintings made the place seem lighter and more colourful. Only had the fruit salad which was nicely presented and came with a range of exotic fruit, all at a reasonable price! Mainly came for the coffee and was a little disappointed but the overall experience was very satisfying and I left a happy customer.
