“A little taste of paradise in the beautiful Perthshire countryside.”
Reviewed 22 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We were initially attracted to Gamefield by its ability to accommodate so many people but being canny Scots and living close enough to make a rece feasible we duly turned up and of course the place instantly sold itself, and so it was that six adults and six children enjoyed a memorable long weekend with even the February weather playing a part.
I have no idea how long the house has been on the rental market but it is a complement to the quality of the furnishings and decor that it looks superb and is really cosy and comfortable. The hot tub and the summerhouse with its excellent woodburning stove were an instant hit with the youngsters (and it has to be admitted, a few of the adults) .
Crieff which is very close by has many good restaurants and shops and there is a wide variety of "things to do" in the vicinity. Whilst the ladies were pampered at the Crieff Hydro Spa the guys took the children down to Crieff Pottery where they had a wonderful time painting ceramics of their own choice (peace perfect peace for two hours!) and the following day we were able to pick up the finished articles which had been glazed in the kiln overnight .
Being a special weekend we availed ourselves of the services of a local firm of caterers - Wilde Thyme - and their superb cuisine and attention to detail was certainly the icing on the cake of a memorable weekend.
There are already cries of "When can we go back?" A fitting tribute.

“The Best Christmas Holiday!!”
Reviewed 6 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We spent a family gathering/Christmas week at Gamefield and it was simply superb in every way. As a party of 10 and with 2 dogs the house had a perfect set-up for all, from the warm kitchen with the brilliant AGA stove, open living and dining, to the relaxing non TV areas. The highlight was the hot-tub and 'bothy' which we used come rain or stars each evening. The adjacent wooden hut is so luxurious and set up for relaxing out of the hub and it almost a spa in itself!! Beyond the house itself, we had fabulous views and multiple walking options from the doorstep. The owners William and Wendy were extremely helpful and friendly and the check-in/out was simple and well organized. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for luxury, with family fun and great Scottish landscapes.

“Quiet, luxurious, spacious, beautiful = perfect”
Reviewed 13 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We had a last minute cancellation of another house we had booked elsewhere. I came across this place and luckily it was available - very helpful and easy to book. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Gamefield was a brilliant venue for eight of us to relax, unwind and have a great time. It's easy to get to, although a sign on the main road wouldn't go amiss! The scenery is fabulous, particularly in Autumn. We will definitely consider going back to Gamefield for our annual weekend away with friends.

“Superb in every respect.”
Reviewed 2 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I'm not going to labour this review. Myself and three very close friends (and Monty, the small dog) had an absolute ball during our short break at Gamefield. Everything you read about Gamefield is true. Luxurious and joyous, comfortable interiors. High points for us were the beautiful Scottish weather, our collective hot tub laughter and the close-ups of Great Spotted Woodpeckers. As General Douglas MacArthur famously said........ I etc....

Returned to Gamefield for 2nd time, is as amazing as the first.
If the skies are grey then this house will cheer you up no matter the weather.
Everything is laid on for you, log fires, summer house, hot tub.
Special mention to the owners, the Frame family, thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your fabulous house, we will return for a third time.

“Outstanding, Very Special Luxury Property and Amazing Area”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in January 2016

I spent 5 days at Gamefield with my extended family in January of this year.

This property has to be seen to be believed. It is spacious, stunningly decorated and fitted out and located in a wonderful part of Perthshire with many top quality quality destinations and experiences nearby. The garden is huge and the Scandinavian summerhouse and hot tub are wonderful. This place is terrific for relaxation while children play in a safe environment. It is also a great base with terrific restaurants, a distillery and a top quality chocolatier all within easy reach. It's not far to the theatre at Pitlochry or to Scotland's Enchanted Forest light show. There are lots of opportunities for different sports in the area and the owners are incredibly helpful - nothing is any bother.

The house is big enough to sleep ten without compromising space or facilities and there is even a separate Indie House to accommodate a larger family or staff/additional guests. It's a terrific place that works well all year round and with a garden big enough for a marquee you could host most things at this place including the all Scottish wedding experience that the owners will assist you with.

I can't recommend Gamefield highly enough. It is absolutely stunning.
