Went for lunch with mum and had chicken goujons and chips. The chips were full of grease and batter greasy too. When we complained we were told they would get us fresh chips, they were just as bad. When they asked us again if they were ok we said no. The waitress then proceeded to ask the next table beside us if their chips were ok. Thought this was highly unprofessional behaviour. We then got the bill and they still charged us for everything which I couldn't believe. Will never go back.

Stayed there for a weekend. Hotel rooms comfortable, clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly polite and attentive. Next time I am in the area I will try to stay at this hotel again

Had lunch here couple of days ago. Pub itself is a bit dated but service very good. Fish was massive with incredibly crispy batter along with nice chips. Onion rings delicious. Shame tartar sauce not supplied as usual although was asked if any sauces required. Quite busy even though a bit off beaten track.

thank you for for your comments always pleased to hear good things about the food, we only took over The Bein Inn the day you came in we do have plans to make changes, but bare in mind the inn is over 300 yrs old and needs to be in character, but I take on board what you are saying.

Visited with family on Saturday . Got a nice friendly welcome on arrival and taken to our table in the bar area. Drink ordered taken by a pleasant young chap. We were told that there would be a wait on our food as the chicken stuffed with haggis is cooked from fresh... Boy it was worth the wait... The gammon steak and chicken fagitas were also very tasty.. Four of our party had desserts and the sticky toffee pudding was just perfect. Custard was not on the menu but there was not a problem getting it. No issues with any of the food. Staff very friendly also. At end of the meal the owner gave us all a liquor on the house. Very pleasant man.. We will certainly be back and will be recommending to family and friends. Keep up the good work!!!

Went out with our two children for a meal on Saturday night here. Staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The choices on the menu are varied, so something for everyone. The meal itself was amazing, food was excellent, couldn't fault it. Altogether a lovely family night out. Would highly recommend!!
