“Outstanding Accommodation at The Millers Guesthouse”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 September 2013

What a way to spend our last night before heading home to Australia.

The Accommodation at The Millers Guesthouse was outstanding - very spacious, comfortable, everything you need and more. Breakfast perfect, Hosts marvellous - the way they greet you, assist with a good local Restaurant and ideas of things to see and do. Location is perfect for Glasgow Airport and countryside. A MUST - 5 Star. A real Treasure. Thank you.

Well what can I say, probably the most intimate stylish guest house I have ever stayed in, if Carlsberg did B & B`s this would be their finest by a country mile, situated in a beautiful rural setting yet within easy reach of Glasgow International Airport. If you do get a chance to stay here in the future, please believe me you will be blown away, myself and partner could not fault it, from Jims warm welcome and lovely breakfast, to Michaels flamboyant breakfast conversation, Oops! I nearly forgot to mention Rueben as Vicki has just reminded me, if only we would have had longer, it was lovely to meet you Guys and stay in your unique abode, until next time?

You will have a wonderful stay here. The house is charming, the beds and room very comfortable, the bathroom is great, the breakfast was delicious and the setting is superb. Really can't fault it. The owners are charming and hospitable and have an equally charming dog. I've spent a lot more money for a lot less quality and enjoyment. They know their business very very well here, so if you can get one of the rooms I wholeheartedly recommend that you do so.

Room Tip: We had the ground floor room and it was lovely

I cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality & comfort I enjoyed whilst staying at Millers from the owners and Michael & Jim. Without hesitation would I recommend this accommodation to anyone be it for a business trip, or just a quiet few days away this property is absolutely stunning, a true gem. For me staying at Millers was more like staying with friends rather than staying at a guest house, or any impersonal hotel. I look forward to return again to visit sometime hopefully when I have more time to explore this beautiful part of the country. Huge thank you for a great stay!

The first view is breath taking, a beautiful guesthouse tucked away in a stunning setting. Having read the previous reviews everyone has got it spot on! Our bedroon over looked the back garden, shutters at the window gave us privacy but allowed the light in. The bed was large and very comfortable, the sitting room was nice to sit and have an early morning coffee over looking the front garden. Our breakfast was cooked well with plenty of tea and coffee on offer.

I'm not going to ramble on - the photographs speak volumes .... The owners are Jim and Mick, both are wonderful hosts who own and live in a beautiful house. Thank you we're glad we found your Guesthouse, it's just perfect!

We arrived on a very cold afternoon late March to a lovely warm welcome from our hosts Mick and Jim and an equally warm and comfortable bedroom together with sitting room. It is a lovely place to stay, near enough to Glasgow to be convenient yet it seemed to be in the middle of the countryside with rural views and near to a village with excellent restaurant. Mustn't forget the dog, Reuben, who spent an evening with us too, snuggled up in the sitting room, when his masters were out. Breakfast was excellent too. You won't be disappointed.

We recently stayed at The Millers for three nights and found the experience just wonderful. What an outstandingly beautiful place! Our accommodation consisted of a very lovely bedroom and our own stunning lounge upstairs, plus a state of the art bathroom. Breakfast was very, very good. The grounds were superb, emerald green and bluebells and we could walk quite a way through them. Undoubtedly the best we have stayed at in the UK. Delightful hosts in Jim and Michael. And as for Ruben, what can I say, if only my suitcase was big enough! Thank you. Sue & Daryl Edwards, Australia.
