We stayed one night stay with dinner, B&B. At Edrachilles you are surrounded by heroic views and by very little of the modern world - apart from good quiet open roads; you are about 100 miles from the nearest town of any significance (Inverness). In such a remote place it is a tribute to the welcoming and amiable proprietors that we ate well at dinner and breakfast in a courteous and well-ordered dining room. Our bed room was warm and wonderfully silent. The hotel was fastidiously cleaned in the morning by commuicative and pleasant folk. The proprietor was attentive, cheerful and spontaneously helpful throughout.

The location, the welcome, the service, the food & the cleanliness of the hotel was superb.
The location over the bay & the walk in the grounds is what the west coast is all about.
The welcome, from the owners & service, from the staff was so friendly yet very professional.
The food was a class above, menu well thought out & cooked to perfection.
Our hotel room & all public rooms immaculate.
Need I say more!

With Badcall Bay at your feet, you're in one of the most beautiful spots Scotland has to offer. Located in the middle of the Highlands, beauty and serinity is guaranteed. The owners have used a lawnmower to mow a path around the area, which takes about 20 minutes to see, but you are given a perfect tour of the bay with plenty of photo oppertunites. The room is big and classy, the hotel has a beautiful conservatory looking into the garden and onto the bay, there is a nice bar with piano, and the dining room looks like it was taken from a castle. A wonderful experience!

What a find! Sublime location, peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, limited choice of fresh and imaginatively-prepared food, unlimited choice of single malts, friendly staff (yes, the owner is formal but not pompous). Wish we had planned our itinerary differently and could have stayed a bit longer. Amazing value for money.

Stayed here as part of a group of 16. only a couple of other guests staying at the same time. Rooms comfortable, hotel and gardens very pleasant. Waiting staff extrememly helpful and food fabulous. The owner/manager is a pompous, patronising and unwelcoming person who seems to consider guests as an untidy addition to his property. Seating, although extensive, wasn't to be moved at any time to allow us to sit together, the layout of the dinner menu was explained to us (starters above the redi line, main dishes below the red line etc) and was ready to us verbatim & the breakfast menu was hillarious in it's inflexibility. Not a hotel to visit if you want to be treated as a welcome, paying guest!!
