Stayed at the Dornoch Castle on 3rd October to celebrate our first wedding anniversary as we held our wedding reception there. Again, the staff were extremely welcoming and the food was absolutely superb. We had our Sunday lunch in the bright and airy restaurant which was the most gorgeous beef roast and also dinner there, where we had venison which was to die for. The service was also of a very high standard.
We stayed in the 'Old Courtroom' which is spectacular with it's old castle walls and four poster bed. We lit the open fire and enjoyed our complimentary champagne and sherry beside the crackling log fire.
All in all an absolutely splendid stay and thanks to Colin and his staff for making our stay memorable. Hope to see you same time next year.
