“An unforgettable stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

We've stayed in many B&Bs across the UK, but our 3 night stay at Kilmichael House was honestly the best by far. The room was so comfortable and cleaned to a high standard - the bed was huge, the view was lovely across the gardens, and the tea tray was really well stocked with luxuries (including homemade shortbread and a Nespresso machine with pods - great for coffee connoisseurs!). Breakfast really made the stay special for us. There was so much on offer - fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, dried fruits/seeds, cereals, cereal bars, homemade jams/marmalades and bread fresh from the bakery (so special when many B&Bs stick with cheaper sachet jams and sliced bread). The cooked breakfast was marvellous with many options available, and it's all Scottish produce (delicious tattie scones!). Charlotte, the owner, was an exceptional host - she has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and her advice really helped us make the most out of our stay. If you're not sure where to head next on your holiday, she will definitely be able to help you out! Thanks for a fantastic break and we would love to return in the future!

Only really slept the night, but received a warm welcome, owner was very helpful getting us booked in for a meal at last minute (Fiddlers Restaurant - recommended), cosy, clean, comfortable, good shower, helpful hosts - everything we wanted.

If you are looking for a quiet and lovely place to stay, then you must choose Kilmichael House B&B. Charlotte's welcome is absolutely fantastic and makes you feel truly at home. The bed is the most comfortable I came across and both room and bathroom are absolutely spotless. Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning so we did not get the chance to try he breakfast, but I would very much imagine it is also delicious. However would you have the opportunity, also try to have some food at the local pub - Fidler's.
Definitely will return!

Hostess is also very nice.Great Park in front of the property.
Little distance from the maintown but quite walkable.
Recommended.

Room Tip: Take Breakfast included as hostess doesnt allow to eat/cook own food in room.

This is what one hopes for in a B&B: good location, charming hostess, beautifully appointed en suite room with yummy little snacks and many other amenities, and a fabulous full Scottish breakfast in a room with a view. And yes, there were deer grazing outside on the morning I was scarfing down delicious breads with 3 kinds of homemade jam; my heart goes out to the reviewer who regretted not opting for breakfast. Well, honey, it gives you a reason to come back. I certainly hope to!

My husband was quite ill during our stay with what turned out to he a bug he'd picked up in India a few days earlier. Charlotte could not have been kinder or more helpful, and she sent a lovely email afterwards to express concern about his health and to express her hope that he'd recovered. Above and beyond the call of duty, in my opinion.

How anyone can be negative about this B&B is beyond me ! Never have I had such a warm welcome. A beautiful detached property in fabulous surroundings and inside was spotlessly clean. Our room was beautiful with so many lovely touches - home made shortbread, fresh spring flowers in a vase, no scrimping on the quality of duvets and pillows, good solid furniture. Room was toasty warm and bathroom had lovely fluffy towels. Fantastic quality coffee machine in room along with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, some fruit, TV and DVD player. We did not take the option of having breakfast - more fool us as I think we have missed at treat as when we went out early one morning we saw deer grazing in the field next to the house which we could have sat and looked at through huge conservatory windows. You can walk into village from B&B but take car if you don't like walking - only a 2 minute drive. House is in a lovely quiet area set back from road. Lots of help and advice and info given by the wonderful lady owner who I think is just fabulous. Cant praise this B&B enough and we will without doubt stay again and will recommend to anyone we know.

My friend and I loved our stay at this bed and breakfast!! Best bed I ever slepted in, delicious breakfast in the morning, beautiful view trough the window,... Drumnadrochit is very small place, but we found a nice and cozy pub where we spend our night playing snooker and trying all kinds of whiskeys (The Benleva Pub). If you like nature, long walks and friendly people I would definetely recommend this place!
