After a cruise on Lochness we needed something warm to eat and this place was handy. We ordered jacket potato with cheese and beans and haggis and chips. Both portions were plentiful and total cost with 2 lemonades was £18 - recommend checking the extensive specials board inside before ordering, we failed to and were dissapointed we missed the smoked salmon sandiwch for £4.95 !!!!

Two days ago my boyfriend and I were on holidays and we were having a great time in Fort Augustus, but going to this place was a terrible mistake!

First of all, the man who attended us was REALLY RUDE, he didn´t even say "hello", and he looked like if he didn´t want to work and like he was doing a great effort speaking to us. When I asked him how much the food was, he didn´t even answer me! He just point to the till.

Apart from that, we were waiting for the food (a burguer and a kebab) 15 minutes! The man gave us a wrong burguer, and when we told him about the mistake, he tried to charge us more!!!

Finally, I have to say that the food was not good, bread was hard and the vegetables really soft.

AVOID THIS PLACE.

I found this little pitstop for a quick bite to eat, it could do with a bit of a facelift and replace the broken tables outside, a quick clean of the tables would not go a miss. Food was ok at reasonable price.
