I had been hill walking and was looking for some quick solid food. I ordered lasagne, which came quite promptly and was very tasty. The chips were nice too. It is certainly nothing fancy, but seemed to attract a general cross-section of people who all seemed to be content. The waiter was a bit disinterested, and didn't ask if I wanted a dessert, so I didn't have one. The young female staff seemed to make more of an effort to be pleasant. But it filled a spot, and I was able to have a nice relaxing stroll down to the loch and along the canal on a mild summer evening afterwards.
