Spent a blissful afternoon listening to the piper and watching a variety of boats and yachts travel through the locks, even the small amount of rain did not deter. Amazing views of the great glen and I am looking forward to spending more time here on my next visit.

Spent five days here, camping at Cumberland campsite. Awesome place, beautiful breathtaking scenery. Macays bar and resteraunt at the campsite serves great home cooked food. The small town has loads to see, with a loch ness cruise trip a must! The bothy resteraunt on the banks of loch ness serves great pub grub, very enjoyable.
A definiteplace to visit on your bucket list!!!!

We went on the Loch Ness Cruse boat and really enjoyed it. Food at The Bothy was excellent and the shops were pretty good. I recommend the Glass Shop

Fort Augustus is the most Southern point of Loch Ness. Fort Augustus has a series of Lochs that lead to Loch Ness. Beside these Lochs are a number of pubs and restaurants. It was a sunny day, all the outdoor seating was full of people catching the sun, having a pint and watching the boats traverse the Loch. a great way to spend a day.
