nice place, you can catch a Loch Ness river cruise here, but not alot to do, not even very many pubs or places to eat.

Well worth spending a few hours here watching the Boats come through whilst having lunch on the side of the Canal Locks

Was lucky enough to secure the last room in the Stravaigers lodge at Cumberlands campsite. The staff were very friendly and the lodge whilst having basic rooms had lovely facilities including good warm showers (beware of the slippy floor!) Will definitely consider visiting this lodge and campsite again.

We loved walking the street, looking at the loch, and exploring the shops. If you want a boat ride on the loch, get there early

Very pretty town. Even though it was very busy with tourists, there was a certain calmer feeling here compared to other towns dotted along the Loch. Some very nice shops with locally made souvenirs and lots of restaurants to have a nice meal.
