Stayed just one night but so memorable as we were treated to an impromptu musical jam session in the cozy lobby--Scottish traditional ballads and dances played on guitar, fiddle, penny-whistle, and more by the two talented McClellan daughters. (It all started when we asked about the guitar resting by the registration desk which turned out to be reserved for guests!) Our family (two teenage sons, a 9-year-old) was enchanted--we shared some of our music, too. A little golf course in the yard was also entertaining. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, rooms clean and pretty. Loved all the little public rooms with fireplaces and nooks. Our hostess, Joanna, had helpful information about our itinerary to come. Perfect, quiet location, easy to find, a good stopping point in our journey to Skye. The 8 pm Loch Ness boat tour was a pleasant evening diversion. We hope to be back!
