“Relaxing and Cozy”
Reviewed 16 February 2017 for a stay in October 2016

My mother and I stayed here for a few nights in October. I could probably live here forever. The apartment was very cozy and inviting and in a beautiful location. The parking spot was very convenient, and the communication with the property manager was spot-on.

“Beautiful Accommodation surrounded by stunning views!”
Reviewed 30 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

23rd - 30th December 2016

What an amazing Christmas spent at No 3 The Old Convent. Not only is the 1st impressions wow Felicity & Chris (absolutely smashing couple) have clearly put a lot of heart & soul into the flat......homely, warm & welcoming with all the added touches to complete a stress free holiday.

Felicity has thought out the box when it comes to utensils/decoration/comfort - Chris offers guitar lessons which went down a treat - super fast WiFi impressive - Christmas Spirit touches 1st class.

Communication received leading up to and throughout our stay was greatly appreciated.

Highly recommended, only disappointment we experienced was our week came to an end and we had to leave!

Keep up the good work!

“Seven Prior Trips to Scotland - This was the most awesome accomodation EVER”
Reviewed 17 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

The location is in a gorgeous area of Scotland and is central to numerous places of interest.
The rooms are spacious, warm, beautifully decorated to the smallest of details The kitchen is equipped for a serious chef. Lots of wonderful hot water.
The host and hostess are local denizens on site and incredibly helpful.
Nothing has ever compared to this stay.

“The perfect self catered apartment with wonderful hosts”
Reviewed 30 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Second visit to The Old Convent and once again had a great stay. Felicity and Chris are so welcoming and have such a beautiful house in the The Old Convent - I can't wait to see the other apartments when they're done. The apartment had everything I needed to cook, wash clothes, have a lovely shower at the end of a day of walking and have a great night's sleep. There is literally everything you could need and it's right in the middle of the Highlands so most places are accessible in just a day. A short walk into Fort Augustus so you can enjoy a drink by the canal without having to worry about driving. Can't wait to come back!

“Wow what an amazing find”
Reviewed 23 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Stayed here for a week mid September 2016.
As soon as we pulled up in the drive it just felt right, stunning open surrounding views and had a very open feel.
We were greeted by Chris who took us up to the apartment. It had the wow factor as soon as we walked in and has been renovated and restored in a beautiful way.
Chris showed us round and we immediately felt at home. It had all the amenities you would want really giving it a homely and home from home feel.
It was well furnished and airy and very clean.
We found the bedroom luxurious and the decor modern and tasteful.
We later met Felicity who had taken time to get us some DVDs and gave us some local knowledge that we really appreciated.
There is a blue information book with things to do that Chris and Felicity have put together, we did a few recommended trips and so glad we did.
Fort Augutus is great with plenty of pubs and eateries also a local landis that was very handy.
All in all we would both recommend this place 100%
lovely hosts in a beautiful renovated convent with everything you would need.
A great base for travelling the stunning highlands.
