Just terrible and expensive. The Service is really bad and the access to the hotel is awful.
We couldn't had dinner the first night at 8.20 pm, and the second night they told us that we need to book the dinner so we couldn't eat there at all!!
There's nothing in Foyers but the falls...no village center, no restaurants...nothing, and this hotel is just terrible!

Located in the most wonderful part around Loch Ness. Views fantastic, hotel beautiful and hosts very welcoming. Most relaxing place I have visited in a long time. Deer in the grounds, pheasants and not forgetting the red squirrels. Will be back.

Room Tip: room with balcony

Foyers Bay Country House is located in a very beautiful place, in the middle of the woods. The road that leads to it makes you pass through some amazing forests, so it is a very nice drive up there. Although located near a forest it is very easy to find, so don't worry about that, just enjoy the beautiful landscape and garden in front of the house!
When we arrived we were being expected, which is always very good.
Angela and her husband (who is also the chef) are very nice and friendly and gave us a proper welcome.
The rooms are cosy, comfortable and very clean!
If you plan on having dinner at Foyers Bay Country House (which we definitely recommend) don't forget to make a reservation in advance. All the dishes are very well prepared (all done in front of you as you can see the chef preparing all the dishes) and although simple, they are very, very tasty... so congrats to the chef!
We will definitely return to this lovely, friendly, cosy and nice house.
We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommended it more!

We would probably not have found this without our satnav. Although if you wee looking for Foyers Falls on the south side on Loch ness it is nearby. The south side of Loch ness is so much better than the north. We say deer in the Great Glen o our way here. This is an unusual hotel. It is a bit quirky. A posh country house it is not! But it is so welcoming. Our room was small-ish but really pleasant , with good whit bed linen and a piece of tartan on the bed. Small-ish shower room, all very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were in the conservatory with views over the lawn, and birds and red squirrels, to the loch. The food was excellent. As a vegetarian, I was prepared to have whatever was available and each day it was very good. My husband enthused about the fish and the Charlotte potatoes. But most of all, it was Kate, and her husband, and the 'barman' Graham who made it. They were attentive, friendly ,slightly exuberant, and we loved every minute. I think you would need to go with an attitude of 'fitting in' but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a warm, friendly place to stay. we were sad to lez d

On our walk around Loch Ness, we found this Hotel the best of the lot we stayed in. We had a superb evening meal and breakfast there and were made very welcome by our hosts. I would highly recommend this guest house and will love to have a return visit. It is superbly located in Lower Foyers right next to the water falls.

I love this place so much. This house is very cute. Good view of lockness lake from living room. Owners are very nice. They sent a mail for us how to prepare a trip before going there. Breakfast is very delicious and variety and healthy. There is a big dog called "Molly". She is very nice. No elevator, it is not suitable for large luggage. I definitely come back to stay here again.

Room Tip: We booked connecting room. We have one bathroom but can use the toilet on the ground floor.

We did not stay here but went for a set 4 course dinner on New Year's Eve. We had read reviews about the male owner being rude , well I find that hard to believe. We got a very warm welcome from both the hosts, they tendered to our every need. The male host is also the chef and his food was lovely, my husband had steak and said it was cooked perfectly. I had a veggie dish and it was lovely, such a large portion I could not finish it all. The chocolate pudding was to die for. Very tasty indeed.

We love the setting of this place , if we are in area again we said we would come and stay here.

Highly recommend for some lovely very reasonably priced food.

We much prefer small cosy well run hotels like this that give you the personal touch to large chain hotels.
