“Perfect!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

Well, I stayed in some great B&Bs on the Great Glen Way but this was my joint favourite. Tucked on the hillside with a veranda that has a view to die for. Room was top quality, nice bed and linen, shower was great. Ate at the Glenmoriston Hotel just 200m away but remember to book.

Only 3 rooms in the B&B so felt really special.

Owner was lovely and really made you feel welcome. Breakfast was big and filling and packed lunch was big and hearty which was exactly what was needed.

Highly recommended. 5 out of 5!

The rooms are not big and the bathroom door takes that little space away (if they could move the beds it would be more space, but then the beds would block the access to the bathroom.) It was not a good deal, but the bathroom had no toilet brush :(

Apart from that, this B&B is recommended! Nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, stunning view from breakfast room/patio.

Our host was wonderful and very accommodating. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. Invermorriston is the perfect stopping point to visit Urquhart Castle to the north and Fort Augustus to the south, before heading west to the Isle of Skye. Though the upper floor rooms were tight, we were able to maneuver around the beds without any problem. The view of the town from our restroom was great.

This B&B is in a very commercial area (it's all about Nessy) and therefore the price / quality ratio is slightly different than in the rest of the Scottish highlands. Do not expect too much luxury but a decent, clean, neat room with private bathroom facilities. The beds are quite comfortable and the (small) televisions have many channels. The English breakfast was well cooked. Great view / location! Unfortunate the (bath)rooms are too small, our suitcases were standing in the hallway. Darroch is not a really cozy place, the rooms may be modernized...

We stayed for one night whilst walking the GGW. We had a very good stay. Our host was very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. We also had a lovely breakfast to start off our next day of walking. We had a very good evening meal at the near by hotel.

We stayed here for just 1 night whilst doing the GGW . The welcome was friendly and helpful. Our room was compact but clean and tidy with Sky TV. The breakfast was huge and delicious to send us off on our slog to Drum. We would stay here again.

this is a beautiful spot on the edge of the forests. the B&B was clean. our room was compact, but had everything one needs. Breakfast was fresh made. the people who run this are very nice, and helpful. only drawback is there is only 1 dinner spot in town; it is a bit on the high side, even though the food was good, the menu is a bit limited.
there are a couple of walking paths nearby.. with excellent views
I would stay here again for a longer period of time~
