Though not anything like the Niagra Falls, the Invermoriston falls are a beautiful surprise when following the Great Glen way along Loch Ness. Multiple little streams flow down the mountains into the Loch, but the Invermoriston falls are the most spectacular!

We walked to the Falls as we were staying at a hotel nearby. It's a really nice walk and seeing the Falls was amazing, if a little scary!!

There isnt a lot in town but this is a nice stroll through the woods along the river with a cool old stone bridge and some white water trailing off to the loch. We stopped for the night here walking the GGW trail. Its dangerous along the cliff as evidenced by a memorial to a young woman that fell to her death there.

Loved walking through these tracks. The forest is lovely and tracks are well identified on various maps available from local establishments.
Highly recommend. If you can, go early in the morning. It is beautiful and there isn't anyone around, so the whole of nature is yours

Whilst the falls aren't spectacular the woodland and river setting is lovely and the history of the Telford bridge interesting.
