This hotel is superbly located on a long, single track with passing places road, overlooking the Summer Isles and further western islands beyond. When my wife and I visited for one night we had sunny and warm weather and this undoubtedly helped to make our experience positive. We were warmly greeted by the owner who gave us full information to enable us to use the hotel to its fullest. Our room, which we knew in advance, was a wooden cabin (with a wild flower garden as a roof), without a sea view. However the standard of the accommodation was excellent. Pre dinner drinks in the lounge were the order of the day, well evening at least, and as the hotel carries a wide rage of spirits, it took some time to decide which gin and with what to have! The dinner was outstanding. Not a wide menu but the quality of the food was splendid. The staff were well attired and attended on us very well indeed. I could not fail to recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.More
