We enjoyed a wonderful two nights at Spindrift. Sue, our hostess, was delightful making us feel very much at home. The accommodation is situated just off the shore line affording beautiful views across the sea which could be seen from the comfort of our bed or sofa. Aside from the tasteful, clean & quiet room, Sue cooked a breakfast fit for a King! Overall, it was a wonderful two nights and we intend to make our stay an annual event. I can highly highly recommend Spindrift. Thank you, Sue!

Wonderful location and lovely views. Cross between a B and B and self catering as the accommodation has it's own entrance and you are able to come and go as you please. The owners are very friendly and Sue makes her own bread which is delicious first thing in the morning! The room is a good size with plenty of storage and a useful small kitchen area with fridge and microwave for stay-in meals. The bathroom and shower area also a good size and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
Only slight niggle was the state of the driveway up to Spindrift.............lots of deep potholes which were difficult to avoid and could damage cars with a low suspension.

My partner and I had just finished walking six days and 75 miles on the West Highland Way and were looking forward to a restful few days and we found the perfect place. Our room was lovely with a wall sized window to view the sea and the misty islands beyond. Perfect. And so was our host Sue.

Having driven to Applecross first via Bealach na Ba it was great to see Spindrift on the horizon. I'm pleased there are two roads that lead to Spindrift (we left via the road to Shieldaig!) however, I'm pleased we experienced Bealach na Ba and that it was my husband driving!

Spindrift lived up to our expectations of being a remote hideaway. The studio type apartment that Sue and Andy have is just perfect. It is a light and airy room with a big window looking out across the sea to the islands. Its easy to just relax and sit and stare out of the window at the view. Its very peaceful and we had no mobile phone signal so it felt like you could literally close off to the rest of the world.

The studio is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. In addition to the comfy bed there's the sofa or little table and chairs to relax at. Each having its own view out to sea.

The bathroom is very modern with a big shower unit and all the essentials. With the addition of the little kitchen with the fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils you can either stay in or go out for food in nearby Applecross. We only stayed for one night and during the day we'd had a late lunch at the Walled Garden restaurant in Applecross. We then purchased some of the frozen lamb stew they had for sale in their deli and bought additional goodies at the shop in Applecross. All microwaveable! A perfect and yummy meal in the comfort of the studio later on.

Breakfast served by Sue the next day was very tasty and enjoyable sat at the little table. We pre-ordered the night before and requested a time that suited. All served on time.

Sue was a great host and gave us all the information but generally left us to it. Although the studio is part of the main house the fact it had its own door means you can come and go as you please.

A great little hideaway. Definitely recommend.

Two nights were never going to be enough for the our stay at Spindrift. Comfort, space, views, breakfast, surroundings everything and all of it was amazing. Book it now before it goes on the 'schhh.... don't tell anyone' list.

All of this because Sue and Andy have set up the nicest b&b you could wish for.

We stayed three nights here and found it to be excellent in all respects.
The self contained ground floor studio apartment is very modern, well equipped and comfortable with an excellent view across the sea to the Western Isles.
The owners, Andy and Sue, were very friendly and welcoming.
If its peace and quiet in a wonderful setting that you're after, look no further.

We arrived in Applecross with no accommodation booked and we were delighted when we arrived at Spindrift and saw the apartment! A haven of tranquility! I loved the beach theme which the room was tastefully decorated with, great attention to detail! The Cath Kiston kitchenware was lovely, I was very impressed.
We had a great breakfast and Sue made us feel very welcome.
We hope to come back and maybe we will be lucky enough to catch a good sunset, we didnt want to leave and wished we could have stayed for longer
