“Beautiful but no salmon”

we visited in the beginning of August - so too early for salmon but still an awesome sight - definitely worth a visit on a nice day

“very nice walk, amazing falls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

The walks are very easy (a bit short) but the view in the falls from the bridge is great. We even saw salmon jumping up the falls! a Must See

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

I could visit here again and again. The first time we visited in late august we saw salmon jumping! The walk is through beautiful woodland, a bit up and down but plenty of benches to rest on. the falls are not a disappointment. they are viewed from a small bridge. There is ample free parking. Yet another fantastic free activity!!!

“Beautiful falls!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

We stopped here to see the falls and made the walk down pretty easily. It's relatively smooth and certainly worth the short hike to see the falls. We didn't see any salmon, but got to see the ladder. The water is dark colored due to all the peat in the area. The trail back to the car park is tougher since it's uphill, but I managed despite being very out of shape. There are benches along the way to stop. It's free and dogs are allowed.

“Easy access to great walks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

Whilst staying at nearby Strathpeffer the good lady and myself decided on a wander around the falls of Rogie trails, the location is well sign posted after the village of Contin on the road to Ullapool, has a choice of trails to suit most folk, of course the reward is the falls however you should take time to appreciate the Forestry Commissions time and effort.
There is plentiful off road parking along with public toilets
