Lovely restoration of these old buildings, inside is a nice suprise after the basic outside. Clean functional rooms although the shower & toilets are shared so not en-suite. Very good plentiful continental style breakfast. Very friendly staff, happy to accommodate our dog who was travelling with us. Common room at the top of the building with TV etc. Short walk to the water of the Cromarty firth, unfortunately we were too early in the season for the ferry so had to drive the long way round but not a problem.

This used to be lovely when it was first opened but it seems to have gone downhill. The room was nice, but the shower didn't work (not great having just come in from the beach); the management was pretty grim, and the breakfast consisted of mouldy supermarket croissants from the freezer. Quite good value though.
