“Beautiful scenery”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

If you want to glimpse the spectacular, unspoilt, and utterly breath-taking beauty of the highlands, take the single track road through Glen Torridon. You will not be disappointed.

We drove through the Glen to get to Applecross. The drive is stunning, the roads are very good with lots of places you can stop to admire the fantastic views!

“Torridon at its best”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

Fantastic scenery - the walk around Coulin Loch is highly recommended as the views of Lliathach and Beinn Eighe from there are tremendous. The weather is very changeable - we had snow in May. Morning coffee at Loch Torridon Hotel serves the best scones we've tasted

“When God stopped practicing making scenery, He created Torridon.”
Reviewed 5 June 2013

... and Asynt ... but you do have to SEE the mountains!

It was to be the repeat high light of the trip -- however with rain clouds at not much more than 1000 feet, and rain it was something of a wash out. I will be back, but I will have a plan B.
