“One of Scotland's most beautiful glens”
Review of Glen Torridon

I have travelled all over Scotland, hillwalking and mountaineering, and Glen Torridon is one of my favourite places. The scenery is magnificent, there is a wonderful sense of isolation, made all the stronger by the single track road. Even if you ae not a mountaineer, get your boots on and walk one of the marked paths at the Beinn Eighe visitor centre. Even better, walk round the hill from the main car park and take a look at magnificent Triple Buttress.

As other reviewers have said, this is a true wonderful and dramatic place. It is inspiring with its breath-taking scenery all around and birds in abundance. Allow time to take in the slow drive (or walk) and enjoy beautiful views at every turn. Like anywhere, the scenery is at its best in good weather but can be very atmospheric in mists and clouds too.

Whatever the weather you mustn't miss Glen Torridon it is so beautiful and very dramatic. We took the road from Kinlochewe to Sheildeg on a wet miserable day and were still massively impressed by it's beauty.

If you want to glimpse the spectacular, unspoilt, and utterly breath-taking beauty of the highlands, take the single track road through Glen Torridon. You will not be disappointed.
