Stayed for two nights on business. Welcome was great and the hall and upstairs is just a beautiful old 19th century house. Had room 1 which is just gorgeous. Great bathroom with the best of soaps, creams, and shampoos and so on. Lovely fluffy towels. Owners very welcoming and they make the most mouth watering breakfast.
Lady of the house bakes all her own breads and makes her own jams, preservatives. Yummy.
Cannot praise this B and B enough. If you want a very warm welcome in the Highlands go and stay here.

Room Tip: All rooms are deligtful.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the stunning Linnmhor House in Strathpeffer. Rhona and Michael were such warm and friendly hosts who made us feel so welcome throughout the weekend stay. The bedroom and en-suite were immaculate and tastefully decorated. We were delighted to see that there were fresh tulips in the room. It was lovely to come down for breakfast in the morning after a really good sleep - and see a log fire. The breakfast was delicious with a rich menu ranging from a wide selection of cereals and fresh fruits to various tasty dishes e.g. hearty white or black pudding, mushrooms, salmon - each dish complemented by warm, fresh, home - made oatmeal bread. Michael ensured that our cups were constantly filled up with perfect coffee. He tended to our every need - as well as sharing his vast knowledge of the local area. We cannot recommend Linnmhor House highly enough. Margaret and Michael.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rhona and Michael are such friendly hosts, you feel like part of the family. The room (I had the twin one) was very comfortable with a good bed and lovely modern shower room. The decoration is very tasteful and the log fire just lovely when it's raining outside! The breakfast is delicious and a bit different from the usual. The evening meals are just as delicious. Absolutely everything is homemade and fresh. I would highly recommend this accomodation.

Room Tip: The twin room was ideal for 1 person. I imagine for 2 people or for a longer stay it could feel a bit small. The double rooms are very spacious.

You couldn't be made more welcome than the welcome Rhona and Michael give to their guests. Their house is full of character and a lovely coal/wood fire awaits. The beds are top quality (Tempura and so comfy), and the rooms are beautifully done. Rhona's cooking is second to none (she even makes her own bread, own ice cream, jams and liqueurs and also caters for dietery requirements). Breakfasts are 5 star and different! She even made special bread for my Coeliac friend! Michael's front of house can't be beaten. He knows everything about everything and makes it all so interesting in his lovely highland lilt. We go every year and it is the highlight of our winter. I nearly didn't write this because the secret is now out!

Room Tip: All good but I love room 4!

This has got to be Scotland's premier b&b establishment. From the warm welcome on arrival, the roaring fire, the gourmet dinner (don't miss the Portobello mushroom and blue cheese starter), the luxury bedroom, the choice of original and tasty breakfasts to the outstanding "front-of-house" skills, we couldn't find anything to fault.

We've booked in again for next year. Well done Rhona and Michael.
