the display was written text and drawings in the first section and a rather boring video .
we went to the collegiate church dismal . then to the clan museum which was better and with more interest .
we met 2 volunteers who were just helpful but a bit blunt

A small but well presented and interesting museum with lots of interesting local information.
It is a very old town with its royal charter granted in 1066!

We visited here, not really understanding what we were visiting. The lady on the desk was really friendly and explained we were going to visit a exhibition of the history of Tain, taking in the church and silver collection and get an audio guide to take with us to explain things along the way. We did the first part of the tour, but didn't walk around the town.
