Bright airy setting to show of a very ample biodiversity of art works, which whom are displayed impeccably in this beautiful gallery.
The owner, a very quirky good looking gentleman whom I found quite interesting especially on his thoughts of the art work that were on show.
Also a very calm little area as you enter to sit with a coffee.
Well done Mr Brown for your intriguing gallery;)

A lovely shop and gallery with an enthusiastic owner who is very happy to chat about his paintings and artists.
We have had a number of framings carried out by this gallery and these have always been done with taste and their choice of frames.

I went with a relative whose portrait was one of a few included in an exhibition of mostly landscape pictures. I am not a frequent visitor to art galleries by any means but I was very taken by the way the works were set out in a newly refurbished building alongside a conventional shop type space.
This exhibition featured just one artist for a three week show so presumably there is always something new to see. Some of the mountain landscapes were stunning and many had been sold so even though Tain is quite remote the gallery must get good support.
Even if the pictures are not to your taste it is worth visiting the gallery to see how for example the original roof slates have been used on edge to face a wall giving it a lovely texture.
If you are in the area of The Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland and are interested in pictures and/or display areas then do check out Browns Gallery
