Our son's wedding was held here yesterday and it was perfection from start to finish.the staff are so very professional and ensured that the wedding went smoothly.
Husband ,myself and our Grandaughter state in a cottage suite and that was not so good!Carpets were stained, the fold down bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable and we were woken up far too early by deliveries which were unloaded very noisily in front of the room.so five stars for the wedding and one star for the accommodation

Room Tip: Room 30 should be avoided!!!

Dear Isabelyoung,

Thank you for your kind review posted on tripadvisor. I am sorry that you found the sofa bed in room 30 lumpy, they are normally ok for children up to 12 years of age, I will look into this. I am not aware of any stains in the carpet but have the carpet cleaners attend to this on Monday.

Thank you again for your review

Yours sincerely,

We spent one night at this hotel prior to a flight out of Prestwick airport. Having travelled around Scotland for 10 days, it was lovely to finally have a bright, modern spacious room. We had one of the newly refurbished rooms in the main building and it was lovely - the bathroom was great, the bed was large and very comfortable and the room was well appointed with good amenities. We had dinner in the restaurant down stairs and unfortunately that was only mediocre.

Dear Lauren J,

Thank you for your kind review on tripadvisor. It is good to hear you enjoyed one of the newly refurbished rooms.

I am sorry to hear that you found the food mediocre. As you can see from the vast majority of our reviews, our guests love our food.

If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

My partner and I have stayed here many times and it keeps getting better.
We bought one of their deals for a Friday overnight and we couldn't fault it. Our room was lovely and really big. Food was lovely, and staff were really friendly. Couldn't fault this one bit

We booked a Sunday night special deal for D.B & B for £89 which was a real treat. We were allocated room 12 in the main hotel which was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed, if a little blandly decorated considering it is in such a characterful hotel. Staff were really efficient and friendly and the food at dinner and breakfast was not only delicious but beautifully presented.
We have dined here many times in the past for family meals out for both lunch and dinner and have always been delighted with the quality of food, value for money and service we have received, on each and every occasion. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Cottage style rooms in the grounds are nice and private. Room 12 is located above the dining room and is nice and quiet.
