I managed to get out of the rain and wind and into this little cave of a coffee shop. The owner is a refugee from Middlesbrough who is full of fun and laughter, and who , more importantly, produces excellent food and drinks at a reasonable price.
i had a fruit scone and jam with a pot of tea. My companion enjoyed a fruit scone and jam with coffee. Great value at a fiver in total.
The cafe is clean, comfortable and warm. There is no rush, and the customer service is offered with a genuine smile. Returning customers are given a warm welcome. Breakfasts, lunches, snacks, afternoon teas....and fantastic coffee. What more could anyone want?
I strongly recommend a trip to this establishment in Troon.
