“WOW!”
Reviewed 11 November 2013 via mobile

I meant to write this review a few months ago when I first found this place. I have now gone back at least 6 times. Being from Florida, I know and love Cuban food. This is some of the best I have ever had. The roast pork is amazing. Their home made mojo gives it incredible flavor. You will be stuffed, but will keep eating because it is so good. The place is small but has personality. I met the owner and he is a really nice guy that has a passion for making good food.

“A Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed 20 October 2013 via mobile

First and foremost, the food is remarkable! Secondly, the owners and staff are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. My hillbilly vernacular isn't the best when it comes to ordering some of the menu items, but I'm always given encouragement and assistance with a smile by the staff. Everything on the menu is excellent. Just be hopeful that you make it in before they run out of maduros...a can't miss!!! The classic Cuban sandwich is remarkable and the large is big enough to share. The black beans and rice with chimichurri are always on point!

“My first adventure with Cuban food, what an experience!”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

You would not know this is a hidden gem from the outside, but everyone should visit this little Cuban deli at least once. You will want to go back and share it with your friends and family. The food tastes homemade and the owner is extremely friendly to his customers. I want to visit here every time I am in town. Oh by the way, make sure you try the Cuban sandwich during your first visit along with the Cuban cokes (yes they are cokes, not pop) and maybe switch out your beans/rice with a dessert instead.

“Wonderful Cuban Food!”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

A group of us decided this was the restaurant to try in Maryville after a morning of throwing clay, and NONE of us were disappointed!! The rice/bean/hamburger side is deliciously seasoned, and the Cuban sandwiches were HUGE and tasty - tender meat, yummy bread! We each ate half and took the other half home for dinner! Can't wait to go back and try the other items offered, as the owner described them all to us - VERY nice fellow!

“Great Cuban Sandwiches and Maduros”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

We have eaten Cuban sandwiches in several places in Florida and other places, and these are, by far, the best! The meat is tender and well-seasoned, the bread is fresh and the sandwiches are BIG.
The black beans and rice and maduros are always good, and the owners ( a Cuban couple from Miami) are always friendly. For a special treat, try the guava and cream cheese empanadas!
