“Hit the spot for a quick dinner!”
Reviewed 15 March 2013

Checked this place out with some family of my girlfriends, and fell in love at first bite. Nice, clean location, easy to find and park. Food was quick and delicious, and the menu had many options. We had water with our meals, and the bill was less than $17 for two. Not in the area much, but we'll look for it when we're back!

“Finally tried the new place in town”
Reviewed 9 February 2013

We have been driving past this new restaurant for a couple of months. After asking everyone we knew we couldn't find anyone that had been so we kept waiting to try it. Tonight we decided to go in and worst case we would have a drink and an appetizer. The hostess and our waitress were both very friendly and accommodating - we never ran out of drink refills or bread.
Once we were seated we were told after 6 pm all appetizers were 1/2 price - so we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip (regular price $5.50 so happy hour$2.75). It was good and served with a generous portion of chips.
They brought out a bread basket and after reading reviews where someone was bashing the rolls - we were happily surprised that they were fresh and hot.
Each entree comes with a house salad or a caesar salad - we both chose the caesar. It was a large portion with green, crisp lettuce, small croutons and a good dressing. One of us ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and the other ordered the shrimp spaghetti with basil, olive oil and black olives. Both were large portions and had a good flavor.
We could not finish the appetizers or the salads in order to save room for the entrees. We both finished about 1/2 or a little more of the entrees - so I can't imagine someone leaving hungry.
The inside was been totally refinished and it is a nice atmosphere with low music playing and a few televisions throughout the restaurant. There is a small bar area in the back corner of the restaurant that was empty while we were there (Saturday night).
We met the owner - Carlos - and gave our feedback on why we had been reluctant to try the restaurant since we had not heard anything about it or know anyone that had dined there earlier. They are in the process of working with a marketing company to get the word out on what they have / what they are about, etc. The entrees include steaks, several burger options, salads and some other entrees including chicken options as well all under $15.00. There are approximately 6 appetizers including the dip we got, nachos, quesadillas, and a couple of other things I can not remember right now.
We were told an 82 year old lady that has baked for over 40 years makes all of their desserts. They included homemade cheesecake, death by chocolate and homemade coconut cake. We were too full to order dessert, but plan to try them on our next visit.

“Where is the "Master Chef"”
Reviewed 18 January 2013

We are local residents who decided to try out this new restaurant. We decided on an evening the second week of December. There were six adults and one child in our party. The restaurant has had a face lift and the interior was lovely. Well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The prices were reasonable. The items we ordered were as follows: Kids Chicken Tenders with Fries, Obravos Burger with fries, two Florentine Chicken dinners, Fettuccine Alfredo, Coconut Shrimp, and Obravos T-Bone Steak. Our reviews are as follows: The chicken tenders were cooked to death, the burger was good, the Florentine chicken was over cooked and the vegetables were terrible, coconut shrimp was just frozen shrimp that were over cooked and not eaten, T-Bone steak was good. The house salads that came with the meals were ample and good yet the rolls which were served were just plain old packaged white bread rolls and not good ones at that. The Fettuccine was ordered plain but came with chicken. We sent it back and when it returned the sauce did not taste like true Alfredo sauce it tasted more like a white chicken flavored gravy. The wait staff was friendly and really tried to please. We might give this place another try, maybe they were having an off night. But over all we felt the food was poor. The owner claims to be a Master Chef. We hope next time he will be doing the cooking.

“Delightfull meal”
Reviewed 11 January 2013

My wife and I just finished our fourth evening of dinning since they opened. We have had a pleasant experience each and every time. The food has been delicious and the service has been excellent. Tonight there was a large crowd of dinners who were eating. The server told me that they had applied for their liquor license.

“Bland at best.”
Reviewed 7 January 2013

Brown lettuce, scorched chicken and hard, stale bread. We actually left more food than we ate. Just one bite of the "fresh" rolls was enough to know that their claims of all fresh, never frozen food is not a whole truth. Our server showed up promptly and was pleasant. Once our food was delivered she disappeared. We had to find her to pay. Oh, we were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time....noon. Now we know why.
