We only spent one night at Kilronan House, but it was a lovely stay. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent! The most delicious breakfast of our trip with a wide and generous selection on both the continental and the Scottish breakfast options.

Our family of four had a fantastic three-night stay here. The rooms were both spacious and beautiful. Linda and Colin were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, saving us a walk with our luggage. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts recommended a restaurant within walking distance, the Westerton Arms, which served one of the best meals we ate in Britain. We walked to the University of Stirling on one day, and took a day trip to Glasgow by train on another. The Kilronan House and Bridge of Allan were a highlight of our trip.

Room Tip: The twin room at the front of the house is especially spacious, with a lovely view.

We stayed for three nights at this B&B and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was perfect and the hosts were exceptional. They could not do enough for you! Breakfasts were consistently delicious. Colin reserved spaces for us on a loch cruise which we really enjoyed.

Stirling is an ideal location to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh as it is easy to drive to both cities from here.

Kilronan House is the place to stay at in Stirling!

Thank you for taking the time to review Kilronan House. It is much appreciated and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The cruise on Loch Katrine in the Sir Walter Scott is very popular and the scenery is magnificent. We hope we may see you again if you return to this part of Scotland. Best wishes C&L

Anyone looking for B&B stay in vicinity of Stirling should not miss Kilronan House. The accommodation is peaceful, the common areas spacious and the garden is a treat. Add to this the visual delights of Bridge of Allan with its Victorian buildings and numerous walkways and the proximity to Stirling and one has the perfect Scottish hideaway.

We stayed in the two twin bedroom for three nights and loved it! If we could give Kilronan House six or more circles we would. Colin and Linda gave us recommendations for dinner, local sites, and the train info to Edinburgh. We loved the spaciousness of the room and learning about the history behind Kilronan House. The gardens were very peaceful and beautiful. It's located just a few miles north of Stirling, and the train station is a short 15 minute walk from the house. Local sites to see from their recommendations: Rumbling bridge, Castle Campbell, and Culross. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks, Colin and Linda. Hope to come back!

Thank you for your great review and hope you had a good journey home. We like to recommend places to visit that are not that well known or as crowded as the major attractions. We have more ideas for your next trip to Scotland !! Best wishes C&L
