“Great B&B”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

Rooms are cozy, clean and quiet. House in general is decorated with love and has pretty garden. B&B offers everything traveler heart desires.
In walking distance try the Brewery, it is something unique.

Arriving at night it was difficult finding Kilronan House, but it was worth the search. What a lovely, relaxing location in a beautiful residential neighbor overlooking Bridge of Allan. We spent four nights at Kilronan House. Colin was a welcoming host who made sure our stay was comfortable. Fruit and bottle water in our room were nice little extra touches that made our stay more enjoyable. The breakfasts were wonderful. I had the Kilronan special, scrambled eggs and salmon, everyday. On the day of our departure, we had to leave at 7:00 to catch our plane. To ensure we had something to eat for breakfast, Colin prepared a take away bag for us to eat along the way. I highly recommend Kilronan House if you want a relaxing and comfortable place to stay while in the Stirling area.

What a fabulous place to stay! Colin and Lindas natural warmth made us feel at home immediatly! The large room, the view, the wide beds... We lack words! Not only is the house itself grand and very beautiful, the town of Bridge of Allen is a gem and there are lot´s of restaurants if you arrive in the evening and need something to eat. If you have to choose one B and B - choose this. We promise - you will not regret it!

Room Tip: Both rooms are equally good

We only spent one night at Kilronan House, but it was a lovely stay. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent! The most delicious breakfast of our trip with a wide and generous selection on both the continental and the Scottish breakfast options.

Our family of four had a fantastic three-night stay here. The rooms were both spacious and beautiful. Linda and Colin were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, saving us a walk with our luggage. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts recommended a restaurant within walking distance, the Westerton Arms, which served one of the best meals we ate in Britain. We walked to the University of Stirling on one day, and took a day trip to Glasgow by train on another. The Kilronan House and Bridge of Allan were a highlight of our trip.

Room Tip: The twin room at the front of the house is especially spacious, with a lovely view.

We stayed for three nights at this B&B and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was perfect and the hosts were exceptional. They could not do enough for you! Breakfasts were consistently delicious. Colin reserved spaces for us on a loch cruise which we really enjoyed.

Stirling is an ideal location to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh as it is easy to drive to both cities from here.

Kilronan House is the place to stay at in Stirling!

Anyone looking for B&B stay in vicinity of Stirling should not miss Kilronan House. The accommodation is peaceful, the common areas spacious and the garden is a treat. Add to this the visual delights of Bridge of Allan with its Victorian buildings and numerous walkways and the proximity to Stirling and one has the perfect Scottish hideaway.
