“Word of Mouth is the best recomendation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 November 2013

Its not hype or advertising that's made this Cafe/Bistro an almost instant success: its good home cooked food, friendly staff and word of mouth from satisfied customers. Only opened about a month ago and now so busy that you have to wait for a table at lunch time. Food is excellent and the staff friendly, welcoming and friendly. Can't give this new establishment a hgher recommendation.

“Beautiful new Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

The Hideaway is a fabulous addition to Bridge of Allan. The decor is fresh and cosy and there is a lovely, friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of variety to suit all tastes whether it be the coffee, milkshakes and beautiful cakes or one of the gorgeous sandwiches. The portions are generous and all the food is extremely tasty and the freshest and best quality. All the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The Hideaway is a gem and the perfect place to go for coffee, cake or lunch with friends and family. They also do take-away and the food is of the same high quality. I have recommended the cafe to lots of people who love it as much as I do. A must visit.

“Lovely wee place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2013

Have been to the newish Hideaway quite a few times now to meet girlfriends for lunch or once on my own for a quick lunch. The food is super tasty and good value. The coronation chicken especially good and made with chunky chicken pieces and creme fraiche so it's not heavy and stodgy. Everything seems to be homemade which is rare these days. Looking forward to get in when it's not too busy and relax with a coffee on their nice sofa (full to the brim every time i've been in, reflection of how this new addition to bridge of allan is so popular).

A lovely warm and friendly establishment in Bridge of Allan. We go in regularly and are always met by enthusiastic staff. All the food freshly prepared when ordered. Lovely homemade soups, scones and cakes. Well worth a visit.
