“Perfect get away for New Year”
Reviewed 10 February 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Had a fantastic break at Arnbeg to celebrate New Year and a birthday. The house is extremely comfortable and very well equipped, it had everything we could have needed and was the perfect peaceful location for a relaxing break away. With one of our party in a wheelchair the access into Arnbeg was fantastic and there was plenty of room for moving round the property in the wheelchair. A particular highlight was getting to meet all the animals, and getting very close to the gorgeous, friendly sheep. Ali and Michael were extremely welcoming and friendly and on hand if there were any issues in the property. Everyone loved Arnbeg and we definitely want to revisit this lovely property and animals!

“Fabulous cottage in great location- pet friendly with animal farm.”
Reviewed 8 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Fabulous cottage in a great location, two excellent pubs/restaurants and cafe in Kippen. You would have to drive back from pub at night as its too far to walk in the dark. Beautifully decorated and very festive for Christmas. Feeding the animals was a real treat for the children, thanks to Ali on Boxing Day. Lovely large bedrooms with fabulous panorama of the mountains 360 degrees - would have loved to stay longer and paint the views. Difficult cooking for 9 in the kitchen, but the owner said they were thinking of buying larger appliances.

“Scotland's hidden gem!”
Reviewed 5 December 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I have stayed here twice now and it's the most amazing getaway every time. Ali always takes us on some adventure when we have time and Michael is always available and super helpful. These to treat you like family while you stay in the upscale cottage with beautiful modern details.

Last time we visited my friend and I ended up outside wrapped up in blankets staring at the stars because they were so clear and the moon lit everything up. There are great gathering areas throughout the cottage for hanging out and enjoying each other inside and outside.

Don't forget feeding and walking with the animals also! You don't have to play with the animals, but they are all really awesome (Except the black rooster ;D) to feed and walk around the beautiful hills around the cottage.

“Can't beat it!!!”
Reviewed 20 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

The most amazing place to stay! The cottage is lovely, great design and comfortable surroundings! Free wifi and the best bed I've ever slept in away from home (and I have a spinal disorder!) Ali & her partner Michael the owners are always on hand no matter the problem or even if you need local advice of where to go and what to see. Farm/animal visits available to all residents of the cottage...goats, geese, chickens, sheep, pet pig, cats, dogs (did I miss anyone?!) Clean, tidy and excellent service. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

“Outstanding hospitality”
Reviewed 20 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Arnbeg Cottage was everything I hoped it would be. I stayed there with my teenage daughters and my elderly parents, both of whom are in a wheelchair. I found the cottage by far the most wheel-chair accessible accommodation I have ever stayed in and parents felt very comfortable. The whole family loved watching the animals being walked past the window and enjoyed feeding the chickens, turkeys and goats. The welcome pack left by Ali, the host, was much appreciated.

I found this location ideal for touring around Scotland with quiet roads and plenty to see and do. I would recommend both the location and the cottage for all ages and especially if you like animals. Ali is an excellent host, she knows the area well and will involve you as much or as little as you like with her menagerie.

“A wonderful place to stay”
Reviewed 4 February 2016 for a stay in April 2015

Everything to love and nothing to dislike from the moment we arrived to our departure 2 weeks later (and this was our second visit). Wonderful, friendly but unobtrusive hosts, a very modern, but warm and welcoming "cottage" furnished very tastefully with just about everything you could think of (including a wine fridge) and views to die for. There is loads to do in the area and we have kept 7 of us (ranging in age from 90 to 14) entertained for two fortnight-long holidays without ever getting bored, although at Arnbeg it's wonderful to just sit and look at the beautiful, ever- changing scenery. A fabulous holiday home suitable for young and old, and with three downstairs bedrooms, suitable for the less mobile as well as families. Thank you Ali and Michael for making Arnbeg Cottage a magical place to stay.
