You will not be disappointed with the rustic charm, excellent home made burgers and brilliant hostess! Take your own alcohol as it is unlicensed and have a pre-dinner drink on the decking overlooking the bay - what better way to start your evening?!

“Warm welcome”
Reviewed 21 September 2013

A disused chapel, easy chairs covered with throws, lots of cod philosophy around the place...." Work to live, don't live to work" ....that kind of thing. A warm welcome from Mairi, the owner, who is busy doing everything but still finds time to chat.
We went for lunch and had burgers, which were average to be honest, and at close to ten pounds each were quite expensive.
No real complaints about the quality and the warm welcome is definitely a plus.
There is a garden but the weather was so poor we had to stay inside so cannot offer an opinion on that.

“Oh Dear!”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

Went in for coffee and cake. Won't make that mistake again! Who serves a scone with butter and jam already on the scone.....an inch thick of butter and some dreadful runny jam. It was awful. The choc fudge cake would put you over the limit for driving as it seemed to taste of sweet sickly sherry. On a positive note the coffee was ok.

“If you don't mind waiting!”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

The interior is very original. My food was very good, my husband's Burger was overcooked. It was a total one woman show, hence the waiting!
