“Friendly cafe with lovely food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2014 via mobile

Stopped in the persabus after visiting the nearby distillery and got a really nice coffee and sandwiches. The couple who run the place were very friendly and they had nice pottery for sale and you could paint your own if you wanted.

“Good place to while away an hour or two”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2013

If, like us, you try in vain to visit Bunnahabain distillery only to find that it's opening hours are less than friendly, don't despair! Persabus pottery is on the road to the distillery an an excellent place to stop for tea, home-made cakes, good chat and some pretty pottery. We particularly liked the Highland Coo and the poppy designs.

“A great interest for kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2013

Wall to wall sunshine for your hols and you need an 'out', or a rainy day, then this is the place. Kids can paint a plate, then have it fired by the 'staff'. Rosemary is a soruce of endless help and, for the parents, a much needed and 'proper' cup of tea or coffee. Home-made sandwiches and cakes are a delight and it has real china!

“Nice pottery and lovely cake”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2013

Visited the pottery twice and on both occasions we ate in the cafe. Coffee was excellent and the home baking just as good. We had the choice of sitting at a table or on one of the comfy couches. Owner was very welcoming and the pottery was of good quality and a nice souvenir of Islay. Bill was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend that you pay a visit.

“Lovely cake!”

We were recommended this place for the tea and cake and it was lovely! Plus the family that run the centre are lovely and chatted to us about Island life.
